🌗Light Vs Dark

The first thing to do as a player is to choose your legion:

Are you a Light Legion or Dark Legion Ally?

LIGHT AND DARKNESS are basic natural phenomena as well as metaphorical meanings that are often equated with the pairs of Being and Non-Being, primordial chaos and world order. But they’re just like two sides of the same coin.

• Light: 🌕 Light serves as a symbol of life, happiness, prosperity, and, in a wider sense, of perfect being and immortality. Archetypal characters of the light side tend to be heroes and their sidekicks, the everyman, mentors, innocents and lovers. Light is the Good side. Usually in light, no one searches for darkness. Most of the Light Legion Apes are artisans and peasants, they live a normal life but they also know how to fight and kill an Enemy.

• Darkness: 🌑 Darkness is used to convey negativity: evil, death, the unknown, failure, war, aggression, greed, and the “no-thing”. Darkness is associated with chaos and the underworld, the bad and evil side. The archetypal darkness is made up of archetypal characters such as the villain, witches, monsters, shapeshifters and tyrants. They act with evil and selfish motivations, caring nothing for the impact of their actions on others and seeking power and control over all around them. Most of the Dark Legion Apes are Merchants and Thieves. They’re evil people and they really like to be cruel.

In real life it’s not common to enjoy the light unless experiencing darkness.

But... in Elemental Apes’ Planet everything is possible.

Each player and each Ape must choose one legion, so you have to do the same.
